Wendy Williams caused alarm with her claims that she NEVER MET her conservatorship lawyer and described them as “b@stards who betrayed me.”

Wendy Williams is firmly pushing back against recent comments made by her guardianship attorney, Roberta Kaplan,

who claimed that the iconic TV host is still battling “good days and bad days” due to her alleged struggles with frontal lobe dementia.

Williams called Kaplan’s remarks “hogwash,” stressing

that the attorney has no legitimate insight into her mental state, as the two have never met.

The clash between Williams and Kaplan centers around a lawsuit filed by the guardianship,

which represents a legal case against the makers of the controversial docuseries Where Is Wendy Williams?.

According to Wendy, Kaplan’s public statements about her health are out of line and misleading.

Speaking to TMZ, Wendy Williams explained her frustration with Kaplan’s claims, stating, “How would she know that? I’ve never met Roberta Kaplan, and I have never talked with her. I’m isolated and locked away in a luxury prison. So much for the Me Too movement.” This fiery response comes in the wake of Kaplan’s comments, which suggested that Williams still experiences cognitive challenges despite recent appearances in public that appeared to show her lucid and engaged.

The Battle Over Wendy’s Health and Guardianship

The ongoing legal dispute over Wendy Williams’ guardianship has drawn significant public attention, especially as the TV personality continues to speak out about her situation. Kaplan, who is representing the guardianship in the lawsuit against the producers of Where Is Wendy Williams?, claimed that Wendy struggles with dementia, a condition that has no cure. According to Kaplan, Wendy has moments of clarity but is generally impacted by the disease, which has led to the appointment of Sabrina Morrissey as her guardian.

Morrissey, a New York City estate administration attorney, has been managing Wendy’s personal affairs for the past few years. Kaplan’s statement about Wendy’s condition, which came shortly after Wendy made a rare appearance on The Breakfast Club, sparked controversy. In the interview, Williams appeared clear-headed, offering insightful and coherent responses, which seemed to contradict the claims that she is suffering from dementia.

Wendy Williams Refutes Cognitive Impairment Claims

In her direct response to the claims about her mental health, Wendy vehemently rejected the notion that she is cognitively impaired. The outspoken former talk show host expressed that she does not believe she has any cognitive challenges and dismissed the idea that she is struggling with the condition. Instead, Wendy painted a far more distressing picture of her current life, revealing that she feels trapped in her care facility, likening it to a “luxury prison.”

Additionally, Wendy shared her frustration with the limitations imposed by her guardianship. She revealed that she has only $15 to her name, adding another layer of concern to the ongoing debate about her autonomy and financial situation.

Wendy’s assertion of being “locked away” and her accusation of mistreatment highlights her deep dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs surrounding her guardianship. Many have expressed concern over her limited access to the outside world, as well as her ongoing struggles to regain control over her life and finances.

A Call for Accountability in the Conservatorship System

Wendy Williams’ latest statements are part of her broader push for more autonomy and transparency regarding her conservatorship. The public spat with her guardianship attorney has brought the spotlight back onto the controversial conservatorship system and the potential abuse that can occur when individuals lose control over their personal and financial decisions.

The case also raises broader questions about the treatment of high-profile individuals under conservatorships, especially when their mental health is in question. Wendy’s accusations of being “locked away” and financially limited paint a troubling picture of her current circumstances, and many supporters have rallied around her, calling for greater oversight and accountability in cases involving conservatorships.

As Wendy continues to speak out, her legal and personal battles remain ongoing. The situation is far from resolved, and her fight to reclaim control over her life and image is likely to continue as she navigates the complexities of the conservatorship system.

While Roberta Kaplan has yet to comment on Wendy’s most recent remarks, the controversy surrounding the case shows no signs of subsiding. The legal and public scrutiny of Wendy Williams’ guardianship and mental health is likely to persist, as her story continues to resonate with those concerned about the rights and freedoms of individuals under similar legal arrangements.
