Taylor Swift’s excitement was palpable on Monday as she celebrated the arrival of her close friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ third child. 

The 35-year-old singer, who has become close to Brittany Mahomes through her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, made her joy known in a simple yet heartfelt way. 

Though Swift has yet to publicly comment on the news, she took to social media to “like” the Mahomes’ announcement, signaling her support and happiness for the growing family.

The Mahomes family shared the big news with their fans in a touching Instagram post. 

Patrick and Brittany revealed their newborn daughter’s name, Golden Raye Mahomes, alongside a beautiful black-and-white photo. 

The image showed the couple’s hands cradling their baby girl’s tiny feet, accompanied by a wooden sign engraved with her name and the birth date, “1/12/25.” 

Their fans quickly flooded the comments section with congratulations, showering love on the couple and their newest addition.

“Love the name! Congratulations,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “Congratulations Mahomes family, and welcome to the world Golden.” Another fan simply added, “Congratulations for your beautiful blessing.” Taylor Swift wasn’t the only one expressing excitement—others shared their joy for the family’s expanding brood, showing how much support the Mahomes family has garnered.

Golden joins her older siblings, daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2. The clip showed Sterling and Bronze taking part in a photoshoot with the sonogram, while the proud parents shared the caption, “Round three, here we come.”

Just a week after the announcement, the couple revealed they were expecting a baby girl with the help of their children. Sterling played a giant game of Tic-Tac-Toe, with blue noughts and pink crosses, and she turned over the tiles with the help of her dad until three pink crosses appeared. This revealed the news to the family, followed by a cloud of pink smoke, signaling the arrival of a baby girl.

Brittany and Patrick have been confident about how their children will adjust to having another sibling. Brittany previously shared how well Sterling has taken to being an older sister, noting that she is “so good as a big sister” and has been a huge help with her younger brother. “She loves her brother so much & has been just the best little helper!!” Brittany wrote on Instagram after Bronze’s birth. As for baby number three, Patrick has made it clear that their family is complete. During a training camp press conference in July, he jokingly declared that he was “done” having kids after this third child.
