Joy Behar caused concern after suggesting she might be facing a major health issue: My time is running out…

Longtime co-host Joy Behar was noticeably absent from The View on Tuesday, leaving fans wondering about her whereabouts.

While the remaining panelists—including Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines,

and Sunny Hostin—carried on with discussions about pressing current events, Behar’s absence was felt among viewers

who tune in daily for her sharp commentary and witty takes on political and social issues.

Tuesday’s episode featured an intense discussion about the news

that billionaire Elon Musk now has control over the Treasury Department’s payment system,

a revelation that raised concerns about access to sensitive taxpayer information, including Social Security details.

The co-hosts engaged in a passionate debate on the potential implications of this power shift, but Behar’s signature voice was missing from the conversation.

A Pattern in Behar’s Schedule

Behar’s absence from the Tuesday episode marked her second consecutive day off from the show this week. However, loyal fans of The View know that her absence on Mondays is a regular part of her schedule. Just as Goldberg typically takes Fridays off, Behar enjoys her Mondays away from the panel, making her Tuesday absence a slight deviation from her normal routine.

The last time Behar appeared on the show was on January 31, when she and her co-hosts reacted to former President Donald Trump’s remarks linking diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to the recent American Airlines plane crash in Washington, D.C. Behar expressed her outrage over Trump’s comments, emphasizing that victims were still being recovered from the Potomac River as he made his controversial statement. Co-host Ana Navarro also weighed in, stating, “When you talk about DEI and Trump, it means despicable, enraging idiocy.”

Additionally, the January 31 episode featured an emotional interview with Good Morning America host Michael Strahan, who opened up about his daughter Isabella Strahan’s battle with cancer and her upcoming documentary, Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight Against Cancer. Haines, who shares a close friendship with Strahan from their time working together on GMA3, teared up as she listened to his heartfelt words. During the conversation, she asked, “The pain of a parent watching your child feel uncomfortable and so few of us deal with this type of pain, how was that for you?” Strahan, visibly moved, replied, “You’re gonna make me cry!”

When Will Joy Behar Return?

At the start of Tuesday’s episode, Goldberg quickly addressed Behar’s absence, reassuring fans that the veteran co-host would likely return soon. “All kinds of stuff is going on today. Joy is not here. She’ll be back tomorrow, we think,” Goldberg stated.

While ABC has not made an official announcement regarding Behar’s return, her absence does not appear to be long-term. Fans can likely expect to see her back at the The View table as early as Wednesday, ready to engage in the show’s signature mix of lively discussions and heated debates.

Behar has been a mainstay on The View since its early days, known for her no-nonsense approach to politics, her humor, and her unwavering opinions. Though she has taken occasional breaks in the past, she remains a key part of the panel, and her absence is always felt when she’s not there.

Looking Ahead

With Behar expected to return soon, viewers can look forward to her insights on the latest headlines and the ongoing political discourse. Whether she’ll have anything to say about Musk’s Treasury control, Trump’s latest controversies, or Strahan’s moving interview remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: her return will be welcomed by fans who appreciate her boldness and candor.

For now, The View continues with the rest of its dynamic panel, but Behar’s return will undoubtedly bring back the full energy of the show. Until then, fans will have to wait just a little longer to hear her trademark wit and sharp analysis once again.
