Brad Pitt hinted at freeing himself from a “demon” after finalizing his divorce from Angelina Jolie: “This marks a fresh start.”

Brad Pitt has reportedly reached a point of immense personal relief following the conclusion of his tumultuous legal battle with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.

After years of intense and bitter litigation, the actor is said to be feeling “happier than ever”

and free from the emotional weight that has defined much of the last few years of his life.

Sources close to the 61-year-old star have shared that the conclusion of his divorce,

which lasted over eight years, has given him a significant sense of liberation.

A source told *Us Weekly*, “A weight has been lifted.” The *Bullet Train* actor is now focusing on rebuilding his life and leaving the past behind.

His main goal is to refocus on his personal well-being and continue the process of healing from a relationship that was deeply strained by public and private battles.

Though Pitt’s relationship with his six children remains complicated, the actor is determined to rebuild these connections. His children, whom he shares with Jolie, are now in their teens and twenties, and Pitt has expressed hope that time will heal the rifts that have formed. While he has maintained minimal contact with the eldest children, Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 20, he still has some communication with the younger ones—Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.

In addition to his efforts to rebuild his relationships with his kids, Brad Pitt has found solace in a new romantic relationship with jewelry executive Ines de Ramon. Sources say that de Ramon, 35, has played a key role in helping the actor “move forward” and find peace after his difficult divorce. Their relationship has been described as deeply supportive, with de Ramon being a stabilizing force in Pitt’s life. A source remarked that she “brings out the best in Brad” and provides him with a sense of calm that has allowed him to start healing from his past.

The couple reportedly bonded over their shared experiences with divorce—de Ramon was previously married to actor Paul Wesley—and have become an important emotional support system for one another. Their connection has been described as genuine, with a second source claiming that de Ramon helped Pitt “finally make peace with Jolie.” As Pitt moves on from his past relationship, de Ramon is seen as a key catalyst in his journey towards healing.

Despite their deep connection, however, the couple is not rushing into marriage. Instead, they are focused on enjoying their relationship without the pressure of taking that step right away. Sources indicate that their bond is serious and committed, but they are taking things one day at a time.

Meanwhile, the legal aspects of Pitt and Jolie’s divorce are still far from over. Although they finalized their divorce in 2024, their dispute over the ownership of the Château Miraval estate in France remains unresolved. The former couple had purchased the property as a symbol of their unity, but it is now at the heart of a bitter legal struggle. The sale of a 50% stake in the estate to a third party has added fuel to the fire, with both parties reportedly having different visions for the future of the property.

In addition to this ongoing dispute, the financial aspects of the divorce have been closely scrutinized. Brad Pitt has reportedly lent Jolie a substantial sum to purchase a home in Los Angeles, and the sale of valuable assets, including a Winston Churchill painting, has been part of their post-divorce financial dealings. While Brad’s net worth remains a staggering $400 million, Angelina has also found success in her career, continuing to be one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses and launching her own fashion and arts initiative, Atelier Jolie.

Despite the drama and challenges that have defined much of their relationship, both Pitt and Jolie are reportedly moving forward in different ways. While Jolie focuses on peace and healing for her family, Pitt is embracing a new chapter in his life, buoyed by his relationship with de Ramon and the sense of closure that comes with the end of his long-standing legal battle.

As Brad Pitt continues to navigate his post-divorce life, he remains committed to putting the past behind him, focusing on his personal growth, his children, and the peace he has found in his new relationship.
