A Fox News staff member has stepped up to disclose the “actual sequence of events” involving Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt’s relationship leading up to their marriage: “That scandalous history will be brought to light…”

Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt have officially confirmed their relationship after years of speculation.

The couple, who have been linked since 2020, announced their engagement on December 26, sharing their joy with the public.

“We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives,” the pair expressed in a statement to Fox News.

A Long-Standing Professional Connection

Both Hannity and Earhardt have built their careers at Fox News.

Hannity has been a part of the network since its inception in 1996, hosting his own show, Hannity, since 2009.

Meanwhile, Earhardt joined Fox News in 2007, working on early morning and weekend programs before stepping into her current role as co-host of Fox & Friends in 2016.

Over the years, Earhardt has expressed her gratitude for her career at Fox, stating in a 2016 interview with People, “I’m so excited to wake America up every day. This is the best time of my life. It just keeps getting better and better.”

Quietly Dating for Years

Rumors of their romance first surfaced in 2020 when a source told People that Hannity and Earhardt had been “seeing each other very secretively for years.” The source claimed that despite Hannity’s high-profile career, he preferred to keep his personal life private.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Earhardt reportedly recorded her broadcasts from Hannity’s home studio, further fueling speculation. The couple was also spotted on various outings, including at a New York City bar, where they appeared “cozy” and “flirty.”

Despite the rumors, both Hannity and Earhardt initially denied being in a relationship. Hannity maintained that he does not discuss his personal life publicly, while Earhardt stated that her focus was on raising her daughter.

A Relationship Built on Shared Values

Throughout their time at Fox News, Hannity and Earhardt have openly discussed their shared Christian beliefs. Hannity appeared as a guest on Ainsley’s Bible Study in 2019, where he shared how his faith had strengthened over time. Earhardt praised Hannity for his openness about his faith, saying, “You’re very good on your show about saying, ‘I’m not perfect. I need God. I’ve made a lot of mistakes.’ And I think people love that about you.”

Their shared religious beliefs reportedly played a significant role in their bond, with both expressing a deep appreciation for faith in their personal and professional lives.

Romantic Getaways and Public Sightings

Although they kept their relationship under wraps for years, Hannity and Earhardt were spotted together on several occasions. In 2019, they attended a wedding together at Trump National Golf Course in Colts Neck, New Jersey, arriving via Hannity’s private helicopter. Sources noted that Hannity had taken Earhardt on multiple vacations, whisking her away for getaways over the years.

Their relationship became more apparent when they were photographed together at various events, including the 2022 Oyster Fest in Long Island and a Waffle House in South Carolina in early 2023.

The Engagement Announcement

On Christmas week of 2024, Hannity proposed to Earhardt at a church in Florida, a location they felt was significant given their shared faith. The couple shared that they had informed their ex-spouses and children ahead of time, ensuring that everyone was comfortable with the engagement. Hannity has two children, Patrick and Merri, with his ex-wife Jill Rhodes, while Earhardt has a daughter, Hayden, from her previous marriage to Will Proctor.

Despite their long-distance relationship—Hannity residing in Florida and Earhardt based in New York—the couple remains committed to making their love work. Their engagement marks a new chapter in their relationship, one built on faith, mutual respect, and years of companionship.

As they prepare for their future together, Hannity and Earhardt continue to be two of Fox News’ most recognized faces, now not just as colleagues but as a couple ready to embrace the next phase of their lives.
