Erin Andrews’ husband, Jarret Stoll, publicly lashed out, calling her a “crazy woman” for allegedly exploiting their child for her “vanity.”

Erin Andrews, the renowned Fox Sports NFL sideline reporter, has always been a fixture in the spotlight, from her broadcasting career to her role as a voice for women’s health.

However, in a recent interview with *Success* magazine, Andrews shared the personal side of her life and the challenges of balancing her demanding career with family priorities.

Her husband, Jarret Stoll, a retired hockey player who won two Stanley Cup championships with the Los Angeles Kings,

has a much more private approach to life, especially when it comes to their fertility journey.

In the interview, Andrews, 46, revealed that Stoll prefers a more private life.

“My husband would rather we not be so public — me not be so public,” she said, acknowledging that their personal experiences, particularly their struggles with fertility,

have been under public scrutiny. Despite Stoll’s desire for privacy, Andrews opened up about the couple’s nine-year in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey, which she began sharing publicly during their seventh round of IVF in 2021. She explained that while Stoll was hesitant about the idea of going public, she felt it was necessary.

“He was just like, ‘Why do we have to say this?’” Andrews recalled Stoll asking her. She responded, “Because these waiting rooms are packed.” Her decision to speak out was fueled by the desire to normalize the conversation around fertility struggles and help others who might be facing similar challenges.

Andrews has been candid about her IVF journey, sharing the emotional and physical toll it took on her. “I just said, ‘This sucks. This just absolutely sucks! And I am so sick of sticking myself with needles and going in there and having a happy face and not telling anyone about it,’” she confessed. By sharing her experience, Andrews became a voice for many women who were silently battling fertility issues, and she hoped her transparency would remove the shame often associated with it.

In July 2023, Andrews and Stoll’s fertility struggles came to an end when they welcomed their first child, son Mack Roger Stoll, through a surrogate. The couple’s joy was evident as they shared their new family dynamic on social media, posting pictures of their son alongside their pet dog, Howie.

Despite the personal happiness, balancing her career with family life has been a constant challenge for Andrews. As one of the top sports broadcasters in the industry, it’s nearly impossible for her to escape the public eye. With 2.2 million Instagram followers and a high-profile position at Fox Sports, which includes working alongside Tom Brady, she finds herself constantly in the spotlight. Her work schedule has only intensified, especially with the addition of Brady to the Fox Sports broadcasting crew after his $375 million, 10-year contract in 2022.

Andrews acknowledged the difficulty of balancing work and family, saying, “I talked about it on a walk with my husband last night as we were walking our dog — we’ve got a lot going on.” She added that with the Super Bowl coming up, the pressure would only increase as they prepare for another year of high-profile sports coverage.

Her work commitments, including her ongoing role in the NFL broadcast booth, are compounded by her personal life. Andrews and Stoll, who tied the knot in June 2017, faced significant health challenges before their marriage. In 2016, Andrews was diagnosed with cervical cancer, but she successfully underwent surgery and is now cancer-free. Her journey through cancer and IVF has given her a unique perspective on both life and her career.

Through it all, Andrews has been open with her fans, using her platforms, including her *Calm Down* podcast, which she co-hosts with fellow Fox Sports host Charissa Thompson, to discuss her health and personal life. On the podcast, she regularly delves into the realities of balancing work, health, and family, offering a behind-the-scenes look at her life.

As Andrews continues to navigate the demands of her career and growing family, she remains a role model for many who face similar challenges. By sharing her story, she has not only become an advocate for women’s health but also a reminder that even those at the top of their fields face personal struggles and triumphs. Through her openness, Andrews has proven that finding balance—whether in life, work, or family—is an ongoing journey, one that requires vulnerability, support, and resilience.
